Nice small history of Galveston museum. Had a lot of interesting items to study from the earliest days of Galveston to after WW2.

This is a great place for Galveston history! Great pictures; video's; classic items from the wars as well. Didn't realize all the involvement in the civil war; as well as they are the second Ellis Island! You have to visit!!

Amazing place to visit. So much to discover, read, preview and enjoy. Aside from the books, video, and displays, they also have a superb museum on the third floor. Lots of interesting Galveston History.

Just happened to see this while parking for the Bishop's Palace, which was closed. Nice reading room with comfy chairs and plenty of magazines and local info.

We've been here a couple of times. Beautiful building with ton's of history. The first time we visited they were having an exhibit of the 1900 storm, very interesting. The second time there was an exhibit of Galveston history.Centrally located in Galveston.
