A wonderful family friendly and pet friendly place to cool down, explore, have a picnic, or relax. There are sometimes little booths set up which is a fun activity to do. There are restrooms and restraunts close by. Dogs enjoy splashing around, sunning, running, and playing.

This is a swimming hole in Georgetown. It is surrounded by bluffs, has a path to cross it, and also walking trails, and a pic nic area. We really enjoyed this little gem.

Because I don't do the political correctness nonsense, gonna tell it like it is! On hot weekends: The Blue Hole becomes a blue mess when a certain element of society shows up! Loud music, trash, dogs running around off leash, and kids jumping off the rock walls in defiance of the rules! The rest of the time: The Blue Hole... More

Having been a local at Gtown, Blue Hole was one of the jewels of the town. Gtown has real good parks, and Blue Hole is no exception. Bit rocky, but in my opinion that only adds to its charm.

Was in Georgetown on business trip. Walked this park after lunch. Good place to bring the family and enjoy the water, it's pet friendly.

Cool spot right in downtown easy to find. Don't know why I have not checked it sooner. Easy walk. Lots of shade picnic tables virtually empty during the week.

Pretty place to walk. There is an old cemetery that we saw on walk that was from late 1800's. People were swimming there; there is a sign there that says it's a natural waterway and you swim at your own risk. Nothing that says water is monitored.

Mom lives in Round Rock and my brother in law told us about this great little place on the river called Blue Hole. Understand this is a river so it's not blue. Since we had all that rain in 2015 the river is flowing better than it has in years. It's nice and refreshing. I didn't see any bathrooms around.... More
