Fun time with young children. Pay to have the fossil find with your child. My daughter pays with the gems still.

A nice wooded park with the river of clear water flowing through the forest. In the rock slabs beneath the shallow water their is giant dinosaur footprints revealing a battle between predatory dinosaurs and the huge plant eater they were attacking.

Wish we had been better prepared, bathing suits, towels, chairs. The dinosaur prints were really cool and made the visual of dinosaurs imaginable! lots of picnic areas and trails to walk as well as swimming holes!

We spent 3 days camping and hiking , then one day visiting wineries nearby. The town had some sites of interest but we didn't visit any. Hope this helps.

The swimming is perfect. Not really deep but very clean water for a river or otherwise. Not sure about the burn ban though.
