There are on site showers, and they're actually not too unclean. Pretty good for a state park, if you ask me. There's also areas that have running water at the campsite, also a nice touch. If you like camping and have little ones, this is the place to be. It's friendly for animals on leashes as well. I would make... More

We took our granddaughter to this place thinking she would love it. Not so! However, it is a nice place but be prepared to do some walking and hiking.

Granted, it was a beautiful day, sunny with a light breeze, so the park was especially pleasant. The river was down, so tracks were easily visible. I was able to walk across , leaping from rock to rock and found several very distinct foot prints. Do come during the dry season if you're looking for tracks. When the river is... More

We visited to see the dino foot prints, which we did, the park was clean but very old fashioned. Go into the visitor center they have a display. It took about two hours of playing in the river, eating our picnic lunch and then the boredom set in, I suggest you bring lunch, out door games, blanket and lots of... More

We drove from Dallas to visit the park and were so disappointed in the condition of the park--dirty (lots of visible trash but no trash cans) and very poor signage. Today was a very dry day which should be a good time to see the tracks. However, we couldn't see any at viewing area one and a few at area... More

Great place for children and dogs. They were hopping in the watering hole and wading around. You have to cross a bunch of stones to cross to see the footprints. The big footprints are in the Natural History Museum in NY. It has a nice pic Nic area.

This park is huge with actual dinosaur footprints! We were there for a day. They have lot of hiking trails for beginners/mid level adventurers! Easily a days hike. We also did stargazing. They had couple of guys with huge telescope(for stargazing event at night on selected days) They shows us Saturn, milky way and lots of other stars via their... More

Lots of stuff about dinosaurs but also trails and fossil searches. You cannot remove fossils, but fun looking for them. Lots of camping slots but no pull-throughs with full hook-ups. The river is usually low enough that kids can have a bit of freedom to roam, but just deep enough to splash around a bit. Really pretty area in the... More
