Too expensive for 4 adults & 1 teenager. Young children would really love it. Not real enough for a 14 yr old.

It all starts and ends with a gift shop. There is a place to dig for gem (pre planted for the little kids) likewise, there is a place to dig for fossils. The park is basically a very nice paved sidewalk through the woods. Along...More

lovely place, lots of great recreations and info about the dinosaurs along the outdoor trail. Kids loved mining for gems (extra), and digging for fossils (extra). Animatronics wasn't that impressive. If your kids love dinosaurs, they will love this place.

We have a 4yr old roaring about dinosaurs and this was a perfect place him! The trail is not long, play ground was awesome, museum was neat, fossil dig and bone yard was relaxing. Already planning to come back for his birthday!

Fun activity for younger kids! Walk and see the dinosaur models outside and the animatronic ones inside (might be scary for littler ones). My daughter (4) loved panning for the gems and digging in the fossil beds too!

The dinosaurs are statues in a natural setting, similar to what you might see in a museum. The fact they did not move didn't detract from my 5 year old grand twins enjoyment!

2 to 3 hours. Check the fossil dig times (4 or 5 times a day as I recall) and you may want to schedule accordingly.
