More Ghosts than Legends

This was my first ghost tour, so I can't really compare it to others. The tour took a little over an hour and entailed quite a bit of walking on and around the town square. As... read more

Did the ghost tour on a Friday evening after dinner, as my wife and I were visiting Granbury for a getaway weekend from DFW. The tour was one of the highlights of our trip. At $10 per person, you can't beat it. We didn't see any ghosts, but Brandy was an excellent guide and really knows her history and legends.... More

Although you hear about the ghosts "haunting" several of the homes or establishments around the square, you also get a lot of local history about Granbury founding fathers, Davy Crockett, John Wilkes Booth, and Jess James. It takes about a hour. Not a strenuous walk and our guide was very knowledgable. Cost is $10 person and I thought it was... More

This was my first ghost tour, so I can't really compare it to others. The tour took a little over an hour and entailed quite a bit of walking on and around the town square. As mentioned before, our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the buildings and the people of early Granbury and was glad to answer questions. My... More

The tour guide has written a book so she knows her stuff. You can buy her book on the tour, from local stores, or from Amazon. The book is the topic of the tour: legends of Granbury. In addition she's a paranormal investigator who has investigated some of the stops on the tour so she's able to add personal experience... More

As a ghost tour guide from Australia I am always keen to try other ghost tours when we are travelling. We did the 7pm tour with family members. Our guide Brandy had an infectious enthusiasm and a vast knowledge of local history and the paranormal. The cost was minimal and provided by far the best ghost tour I have been... More

The tour takes about 1 hour and you learn some very interesting facts about the city of Granbury. The tour guide is easy to hear, walks at a comfortable pace and is happy to answer any questions. Ghosts are the main topic but learning about about the history of this historical city is well worth the visit!

We decided to take the tour with our 6 year old. Our tour guide was very informative, corny jokes, and fun for all. Not a spooky tour at all, there were other families with children there too. Lasts about an hour, worth the $10 per person.

We planned this tour during our anniversary weekend getaway. Brandy was a delightful guide and her enthusiasm for the history, both haunted and not, was infectious. She made me want to learn more about this little town. We heard about the characters who built Granbury and stories about some who have never left. Go on the tour for fun and... More

You can't beat the hospitality of the folks in Granbury and this tour is a must-do for visitors. Like the other reviewers mention, don't expect long ghastly stories of a bereaved widow who plunged to her death from a balcony and now roams the streets screaming his name. You get a few ghost stories and a ton of history. Our... More
