I grew up here and I know the lake pretty well. My favorite spots are Rockin' S and Twin Coves Park. The waters are clean and deep. There isn't much shelter from windy days. Glass Cactus has a great view and cool fireworks in the...More

Lake Grapevine is perfect for boating. There are wonderful parks for picnics on both the Grapevine and Flower Mound sides. Great biking trails, especially on North (FM) side of the lake. The lake really only lacks a good beach for swimming.

I have seen this lake at its lowest levels and at its flooded levels. It is a Great Lake to sit by and enjoy the view. Everyone loves to have it in their selfie pics background. Easy access to several free access areas. I have...More

Awesome place to visit and try to cool down the high temperature from the Texan summer. Enjoy with family and friends.

Nothing overly impressive about the lake. Semi clean. Too many marinas. Good location though. Nice to spend time when not packed with people.

I fish and use Grapevine Lake many times a years, since I live very close to it. Once you learn the lake, the fishing can be very good. Although not that clear, the water is clean. It is not as crowded and dangerous as Lewisville...More

We had a hard time finding the lake, because MapQuest led us astray, but it was worth the extra effort to watch the fireworks that they have every Friday night for a few weeks in the summer!!! Beautiful!!!
