I took a few hours to walk through historic downtown Grapevine, enjoying the many casual restaurants, a good bakery, several wineries, antique shops, and a phenomenal quality chocolate shop call Dr. Sue's. It was a relaxing way to spend an afternoon.

A great afternoon of walking, sampling olive oils, chocolates and wines. The shopping is small shop/boutique and rich with options. Bring your walking shoes.

Seen a lot happen in the last 17 years on this Main Street. Overall it has been fun to visit the various shops and always a pleasure meeting the people who work here. Old Main Street is growing fast and to be honest is changing for the relative good and bad, depending on your point of view. With prosperity comes... More

Actually I don't "visit" as I'm blessed to live in Grapevine. Grapevine Main Street is a blend of historic lore and current artistic offerings. You can find Italian Gelato, local wines, bulk spices, olive oils, art galleries, restaurants and antique shops. A railway offering train rides complete with train robbers, holiday events. Two special events a year, Main Street Days... More

A great variety of shops line the main street. Fun for finding some unique items. Many places to eat, drink, or snack. There are also several very interesting historical exhibits along the street. I didn't ride the train, but I would love to some time. It looks like fun. Don't miss Vetro Glassworks, right by the Train Depot. You can... More

So many Unique restaurants coupled with quirky shops featuring all types of interesting gifts to take home. My first time in Texas. I enjoyed the world's largest wind chimes and the variety of restaurants.

Loved the down town area. Free parking and easy walking alone the sidewalks. Many nice unique shops. Great dark chocolate candy made by Dr. Sue. Ladies at the Chamber were very informative. Ate the best Mexican food at a local place.

Free parking and lots of merchandise - much of it made in the USA, allows you to stroll, eat at several cafes and taverns and enjoy down home Texas hospitality. Plan to visit with the help in the stores. Great location to meet interesting characters not from there.

Worth a stroll, Judy's pie shop was good, Jake's is lively but bar food only don't bring little ones. Street should be made one way and sidewalk dining instituted with on street parking abolished and parking in alleys expanded. Street needs a fountain and a garden or plants. Needs white lights decorating trees at night.

Me and my family parked in the free public parking section and then just started walking. There are several restaurants, wineries and little shops. My daughter loved the little gazebo area. I would make reservations if going to a restaurant on a weekend night.
