Huge Space!

We attended the Houston International Quilt Show. There was plenty of space in this building. It never really felt crowded even though there were thousands of people there.

What a large place, very clean, well sign posted, plenty of lifts, stairs etc. It was the perfect place to hold an exhibition and workshops for us quilters.

We attended the International Quilter's Convention at GBCC. What a beautiful well run center! It is something Houston can be very proud of!

Visited the convention centre for the International Quilt Show... lots of building work outside restricts some movement but the facilities of the centre are very good.

It's a large place, but it's well-designed. There are plenty of restrooms and places to sit down. However, the food court should be avoided unless you are wealthy! $4 for a bottle of water? That's ridiculous! Food was average in quality, but way overpriced!

We attended the International Quilt Show and knew that we would need comfortable walking shoes because parking was several blocks and view the quilts took over 2 hours of walking. The Convention Center and surrounding area is being upgraded for the 2017 NFL Super Bowl. Lots of construction but easy to get around it.

Im attending the grace hopper 2016 conference at the convention center. There are 15,000 attendee's (of which 1000 are men). The conference center is huge. They did have gender neutral restrooms but all the lines are long between sessions. Horrible. There was a unmarked restroom downstairs from the 1st floor but the plumbing doesn't flush well so several of the... More

So I arrived for a conference that is here for this week, and I was very shocked to see the amount of construction that was going on. Which makes the aesthetic value of the property seem really low. It's very loud in points and if you're trying to make business calls it's very hard to do but other than that... More

I was in town for a conference at GRB. The venue is clean, accessible from the Hilton Americas, and the facilities are laid out nicely.

We were there for a Elks National Convention. Center was spacious and representatives of Center were helpful in helping us find things.
