Essentially a miles long tunnel in downtown Houston connecting business buildings so workers don't have to venture out into the blazing heat & sun during the day. Accessible to the public at several entrances as well as employees thru their buildings it's essentially one long...More

My husband and I recently moved to Houston and wanted to get to know the area. A day spent in downtown Houston was a wonderful way to take in the culture. Houston Underground was a unique, fun and exciting area. We spent hours wandering through...More

Interesting tunnel system under the Houston streets and buildings with many restaurants but little more. Was an interesting find in downtown Houston, but not the greatest of attractions.

I'm not sure why two people say this doesn't exist because it does. It is a one a done kind of thing. I took my teenagers just to see and I would have to say the shops are expensive and not worth going to. It...More

I would like to know where this "Houston Underground" Is. I'm inclined to think it doesn't exist. In fact, there isn't anything underneath Greater Heights except water and oil. Nice job, TripAdvisor

Seriously. "Houston underground" somewhere under the heights? It doesn't exist. These idiot reviewers are pulling your leg. The only thing at all close to it is the downtown tunnel system, and it's dark, cramped, and filled with crappy shops that downtown workers would completely skip...More
