Pros - saw some fish Cons - expensive parking, expensive to get in, expensive to ride stuff. Go to the zoo - it's a much better use of your time and money.

A must must visit with the family. The kids had so much fun. They loved the fact they could see the dolphins and sharks through the glass. Net and a family friendly place.

The aquarium is located adjacent to downtown Houston. It has an indoor portion that has a lot of very interesting wildlife as well as some white tigers at the end of the exhibit. There is a large restaurant with a nice view overlooking a portion of downtown where someone can have dinner even if they don't want to walk through... More

Firstly there is valet reasonably priced parking which is a plus for me! This Aquarium has more to offer than the usual, with White Tigers and stingray feeding which is super fun. In addition to this there is a fun outside area with a few small rides, caricature artists which is fun... The restaurant is also very nice with pretty... More

I took some friends visiting from out of town. Although the aquarium isn't the biggest in Texas it is clean and attractive. Great way to spend and afternoon and see some of downtown Houston. We enjoyed looking at all the different aquarium displays and enjoyed feeding/touching the stingrays.

My children and I love aquariums! - but this one made us feel awful. The fish and stingrays are interesting, but we were really sorry to see an exhibit of beautiful white tigers trapped in a tiny enclosure. They sit on what looks like marble or maybe concrete, and look bored and miserable. It's really cruel and made us not... More

I was a little hesitant at first about visiting after reading reviews about how small it was a how quick you could finish everything. First of all, it is small. My husband, son (age 2) and I went and paid $60 to get in because we bought the All Day Passes. Price was a little high but my son enjoyed... More

Our visit to the aquarium took about 2 hours. We had the Houston City Pass so we went to this attraction. I really enjoyed it. It had a good variety of fish, nicely displayed and my daughters fed the stingrays! It was a nice activity for the kids. We didn't do the rides but they are there if you are... More

We have stopped here a few times when we are in town. The atmosphere is very family friendly, entertaining. The food is typical American food with little surprises.
