I love the theatre and make a regular trip to see a place or just walk around. There are sculptures all around the theatre district and you are in walking distance from eateries.

We have some excellent productions here in Houston and the inside of the theaters are top-notch. That said, there is nothing architecturally or historically important about any of the buildings. Enjoy a play or the symphony but don't come here to see the buildings.

Went for the NEW years eve party in Jones plazza. Lots of free family fun stages everywhere face painting, fortune tellers entertainment 9pm countdown. For adults drinks and food. We are at blue fish yummy. Then watched B52s convert. Great location easy just steps off the metro.

Houston has some wonderful cultural features downtown. From great Ballet to wonderful concerts as well as great plays and musicals. The theater district is a great place to consider if you're visiting Houston. Nearby are plenty of places to dine and enjoy a night out. Highly recommend. Top quality-rivals the best of New York and other great venues.

After seeing several Broadway Shows In New York, as well as one in London's HTeatre Disctrict, I can only say "WOW HOUSTON!" The theatre district is one to be envied by the rest as Houston boasts the most spacious, most upscale and fabulous acoustics (The Alley Theatre is absolutely amazing for acoustics!) of any I've travelled to experience. The Hobby... More

Last Saturday March 14 I had the pleasure to attend a Modern Masters Ballet performance at The Theater District in Houston. It was performed by a very strong professional performers. It was a very enjoyable performance. The costumes were beautiful, the orchestra music has been a great addition to the performers. It makes the perfect combination and a pleasure to... More

Walked through the 'Theatre District' today on the way to the Houston Aquarium and was really impressed with the modern theatre's. Few bars/restaurants in area including Hard Rock Cafe. Worth a walk through..
