Great place in a fun neighborhood

With a few minutes or a few hours, a great place to see profession local artist. Beautiful gallery. Very reasonable prices and run by the artists! Always an artist to talk to.

Archway gallery, in essence, is an artist-owned and artist-operated gallery - a collective of 25 or more artists exhibiting in various genres: Abstract, traditional and surreal artists, sculptors and potters, photographers and print makers. If an artist leaves, the artists themselves vote on new artists who have applied for admission to the group. Within each genre, the gallery tries to... More

The quality of the artwork is excellent and colorful. Their collection always elicits an emotional response with me whether it's whimsical or thoughtful. They host different events (get on their mailing list to be invited) including poetry readings by local poets. I have participated in several of these poetry readings. They provide refreshments and treat each person in a personal/... More

Down a quiet, partly residential street in the Montrose area is this artist-owned gallery. Beautiful works of art with some at very reasonable prices. Today they had Valet parking but not sure if that is normal.

The wind quintet, WindSync, held a concert/brunch in the lovely Archway Gallery on May 3rd. It was a total experience of sight, sound and taste. The gallery was the perfect venue. In addition to the art on the walls there was the "Empty Bowls" display. Displays change monthly. The gallery is a beautiful space to display the work of the... More

This review starts for me April 1, 1976. This is an artist owned Gallery that has been in constant operation. I believe this gallery to have the prestige of having the longest run as an artist owned gallery. It rotates the artists every month so that one member is featured every month. It is operated with love and pride. These... More
