The Gulf Coast Railroad Museum is closed and has moved from it's location on Mesa Drive. As I understand it, they lost their lease to the land as the owner needed to expand its business. The equipment has relocated to a temporary location while they negotiate a new site. It is possible they will eventually relocated to Tomball.

Took the kids with us, and we had a great time. Our son loves trains but even our daughter had a good time.

Closets with tools and equipment are out in the open. If your a real railroad buff, they do have an old pullman Amtrak car, but other... More

The railroad museum houses a large collection of railroad cars of many types that you can walk through. One car includes a nice collection of railroad memorabilia. There is normally a volunteer available to lead tours through the cars and explain their history. Train buffs will enjoy the opportunity to see the cars which are in various stages of restoration....
