This is a great way to thank your kiddos for behaving while you dragged them through the mall for a few hours. The cost was $15 to skate and get renal skates. My daughters (9 and 7) skated for an hour and half and had a blast. It's in the food court of the mall, so you can grab a... More

I visited the Galleria last December and the ice rink was opened to the public. I did not have the nerve to skate, but watching the skaters was just as much fun for me, and safer. Some of the skaters looked like they had been on skates for years.

My kids love ice skating right in the middle of a massive mall even in the hot city of Houston. It's a nice way to get exercise while keeping cool. For what it's worth my kids do take lessons at the Galleria so we go there every week. The rental skates are crappy so if you have your own it... More

Ill fitting rental skates (Since my old competition skates no longer fit) gave me two large blisters and pain when walking for two weeks. Ice was a bit mushy as well in places. As a former figure skating competitor I wouldn't recommend this rink unless you were truly desperate for something to do in the Galleria.

Over priced for just another ice rink. Nothing special. We have been to several different ice rinks and this is just another rink. People were not very friendly either.

My oldest son enjoyed his third time ice skating. He felt comfortable enough to go around the rink without having to be at his side. Which left me free to help my younger son get comfortable with staying upright on the skates, which was a challenge. Hopefully when we visit again, the renovations will be done in the mall.

I took my friend there, who never tried ice skating. After 15 minutes of convincing, I finally get hi to try it. Even months later he still remembers it as one of the best moments in his life!

The show was good, but there needs to be a better system in place to prevent spectators from coming too close to the railing rather than two security guards trying to control the masses.
