Huntsville State Park is a beautiful park with a large fishing lake and fun little paddleboat rentals. Fishing is great in the Spring and Fall. Summer is more challenging for fishing, like most lakes. Lots of well kept cooking pits.

Great place to go visit for a day or extended stay! Lots of trails, playgrounds, showers and restrooms clean. Lots of things to do in the park, and close to cities, if you need to venture out! Highly recommend!

Huntsville State Park is our favorite state park in Texas especially in the fall! Trees are beautiful, sights in the park are great and it is very well maintained! You have to make reservations far ahead of time. Lovely!!
