We took the tour of the railroad car and it was very interesting. The wood work and amenities of this train were truly incredible. If you were going to travel on a train, this would be the way to do it.

It is good that the Garden Society opted to recue this piece of history and restore it. The photos and history they have compiled is quite interesting.

This is so much fun when it's running, lots of Christmas things along the tracks, so good for children.

This train car is in great condition and the guide is very knowledgeable about the history. We enjoyed exploring all of the nooks, hidden shelves, cabinets, and the old engineering that made things work. It is worth the time to stop by and see this...More

We did not take the tour inside the car. But could tell it is kept clean and would a thrill for anyone interested in the rail cars.

As I recall, and this is from memory, our tour was at 11:00 and was $10 per adult. Purchase tickets, get times from the Excelsior Hotel across the street.
