The roads are a little tight for large rigs and they have limited sites for these. Smaller units should have no problems. However, the park is simply magnificent. The fishing pier overseas Millers Pond which is totally encompassed with exceptionally large cypress trees. We rented a canoe from the park office and paddled through the trees out into the open... Just ended our visit to Caddo Lake State Park and can say if we're ever on our way through again it's definitely a must stop. The campground is very clean and quiet with an abundance of shade. We really enjoyed taking the kayaks out on Mill Pond then to the river. The only negative we found was the shower house... More

What a place for a great adventure if you're into kayaking or canoeing in the swamp as you go down the river through hell's half-acre The campgrounds are clean and definitely at the end of the road.

I have stayed at many state parks in Texas and this is the best. The spots are large wooded spaces, the place is very peaceful and it is well patrolled.

We camped here for 2 nights in the Mill pond area. This place is beautiful. Its just stunning. We hiked and canoed and just plain had fun! I'd return here over and over again. The park rangers were friendly and helpful and the park is wonderful and has great interpretive areas and things to do. Go!

No ice on premises - ice machine on major street near park. Not on the lake itself, but on a tributary and views only from boat ramp and primitive campsites. Drive over to Uncertain and ask for Captain Mike and get a nice boat tour of the lake. Be sure to hike the trails at the state park, but be... More

We went to caddo lake state park in February 2017 with a group of friends. We stayed in the cabins which were very clean for a campground. The staff were very friendly. We rented canoes which was good. Great weekend.

Stayed in cabin 2 of state park. Plenty of room. Gas fireplace. Great location. Housekeeper needs to remember to sweep under beds. Beds were comfy. Great romantic getaway or family location. Will be back!!!
