LLELA has lots of options for everyone. There are hiking trails, kayaking, fishing and an 1869 homestead with out buildings that is fascinating.

Despite having lived in the Metroplex since 2001, my family and I just recently discovered this hidden gem. We love coming here to go on nature hikes and photography trips. We often use the two photography blinds.

We hiked Bittern Marsh area also Cotton wood, both were enjoyable easy bike's, A cabin an lookout points were interesting, bring water port a potty entourage which is nice! ENJOY

We have taken scouts and shool children here to learn about nature is a well preserved and 'maintained' environment for years now. Tons of trails and different topographies from meadows to wet lands. Be sure to ask about the "butterfly tree" when there.
