This is where you can see things that were common in my youth...but my grand children have no idea of except via TV. A great place to walk at your own pace...see and touch things that will soon be nothing more than museum pieces to the people of today. Reminds me of when we were a much more civilized people.

This Park and Museum was outstanding. It is a collection of historical items from the 1800's through the 1950's. Cars, tractors, washing machines, water power from stream; almost any old item that was used to make life easier during a time period. Mr. Parrott collected items from the past to show the present and future. Items are grouped together so... More

Wonderful exhibition of old farm life. So nice to see our past preserved for our future generations! Lots of hard work and built by a man with a obvious passion!

My wife and I went to Lindale, for lunch at Leos and stopped by the Parrott Park and Agricultural Museum, on the way back home. The museum is about 1/4 mile north of I-20 on the east side of Hwy 69 (Main Street). Admission is free. There are several buildings on about 20 acres, which also includes a small lake.... More

Would have come sooner had we known this was practically next door to our hotel (Comfort Suites). We loved this place so much diversity in exhibits and so much history! We didn't get to stay as long as we would have liked because we discovered this treasure on our last day in town. We had checked out of the hotel... More

This exhibit was put together over a period of years and has been donated by the individual to the City of Lindale. It consists of many items that offer a glimpse of life in yesteryear when work was dominate rather than mostly pleasure. Many outbuildings have been built to display all of the items, along with some calming walking paths... More
