This is one place that there is never a dull moment with so many Prairie Dogs running around. These little guys seems to be well fed by visitors. They can keep you entertained for hours. Fun for kids to watch.

Prairie Dog Town is located in a park. There is a viewing area and the prairie dogs are numerous and active. They like carrots and sunflower seeds. Be careful driving in as the animals have tunneled outside the enclosure and can be seen everywhere. Kids...More

The kids will love it, you may not be so excited, especially on a hot day. The signage is not good once you get into the park, my suggestion is once you get to the perimeter fence of the golf course kinda follow it around...More

Stopped here cause how can you not when you here of a prairie dog farm. Little critters were to cute and fun to watch. Small viewing area but fun nonetheless.

Only takes a few minutes to come see these adorable critters. And they even have a SnapChat filter! Watch out in parking lot--they have dug under walls and have holes everywhere. So cute!!!

This is a must stop by place for families visiting Lubbock that aren't used to seeing prairie dogs. This attraction is free. Has been there since I was kid. They are interesting to watch. Can stop for just a few minutes to look them over...More

We just kept saying over and over how cute the little guys were. If you are looking for a free activity to entertain the family this is it. Bring a bag of carrots because they love them.

Those prairie dogs are the cutest things in Lubbock! They enjoy carrots and pumpkin seeds seem to be a favorite snack! They are adorable and a must see when visiting Lubbock!
