Mackenzie park has some nice outdoor activities. It is one of the few places in town with some minor hills to run if you are training for a hilly race somewhere else. It also has a disc golf course, a regular golf course, and several baseball fields. It is host to Prairie Dog Town and Joyland Amusement Park.

I love this park! I go biking here often. You can also run, play frisbee golf, picnic, and fish. There are covered pavilions and restroom facilities.

We went to see the Prairie dogs. Nice, large park. Interesting museums near by. Watched as someone fed the Prairie dogs. Would be a great place for a picnic lunch and a game of frisbee.

This is a really cool park. With a prarie dog town my children love, grills and covered seating throughout and joyland amusement park inside it was a hit. There are also mountain biking and hiking trails nearby. Lot of family fun and could be free except Joyland Amusement park.

Definitely cool to go around and find Poke stops and then show the kids Prairie dog town. There's always something going around out there with softball or the kickball leagues.

What a great place to bring the family! The amphitheater was well situated and the volunteers were of great assistance from finding a seat to retrieving play bills. Even from the top-most row, the sounds and views were fantastic! Throughly enjoyed the Seuss-vibe! My 4-year-old son danced and my granddaughter couldn't stop doing cartwheels she was so excited. The cast... More

my wife and I enjoy watching the prairie dogs in there natural setting. The park has a wonderful area for the dogs and we have a few that we look for all the time when we take the great grandkids for the afternoon

These darling little guys MADE the trip! They love those baby carrots so pick some up before you go and throw some out to them. Thank you, K. N. Clapp for Mackenzie Park and for Prairie Dog Town!

We spent the day sledding when we had a big snow storm. There were other people there with their children as well. People were friendly and my daughter was able to go sledding for the first time. We have been at this park for Santa land, 4th of July and other events. Our family always has a good time when... More
