Although we did not tour the inside of the building, we enjoyed admiring this registered historic landmark when we stopped for lunch in Marfa (the restaurant Squeeze is opposite and recommended for tasty sandwiches. ) The building was completed in 1887 and built with locally...More

There isn't much to see in this historic building, but you have to walk all the way to the top of the dome to get a great view of Marfa. The day we were there, the wind was blowing so hard, it scared my 25...More

Surprisingly nice building for a town of 2000. Great views from the top floor. Lovely woodwork but nothing else to see. Not worth a special trip but if you are walking around in the are, go in.

The courthouse is a beautiful building and the most impressive structure in Marfa. There is something to see on every floor, and the crowning glory is the top where you can get panoramic views of Marfa and the entire area.

I enjoyed the easy walk to the top and the slightly precarious walk back down. It is a working courthouse so quiet is in order.

This historic courthouse is worth the visit just to see the interior. Although still clearly a working courthouse, you can still see and appreciate the history. The best part, though, are the views from the top as it is the highest building in this small...More

Quaint old courthouse with easy access to all floors but make the climb to the very top for a complete view of Marfa!
