I visited Glyfada in October, so the beach was not crowded. It is easily accessible by tram 5 from Syntagma square. The ride is between 45 min and 1 hour, the trams are quite frequent. Glyfada beach is sandy, with pebbles at the water edge. Sea is very clean, transparent and beautiful. In mid October lots of people were still... More

Was a nice beach away from the crowds, we went there relaxed and chilled. Near the tram just 1 minute walking to reach the beach

We drove south of Athens to the Temple of Poseidon and stopped here and the neighboring turtle rescue center on the way to Sounion . The beach is really nice and has lots of amenities. There are nice umbrellas and tables to use. Parking is easy in a lot next to the beach. It was mostly rocks when we were... More

Great location and a fantastic clean beach in the best area of Athens . In the vicinity of all the shops and restaurants and yet quiet and secluded on the beach

8 euros got us 2 beach loungers an umbrella and table all day. The water is clear. The people are nice. There is a restaurant with facilities and a store selling all sorts of beach stuff , lotion, floaties, shoes, sunglasses, etc. We had a blast and would definitely go back.

The sand is soft and makes a good contrast with the sea, the beach is long surrounded by mountains, but really-really filled with rubbish. No changing kiosk or shower.

Not what I expected! It's more for the locals not a touristy place. We were looking for a beach with restaurants and a bar. Nothing like that here, bring your own lounge chairs, food etc. Not much to do or see here.
