Poor condition
May 2018 • Family
The palace is impressive, but the surrounding buildings are in very poor conditions. It is a large complex, but the facade is in disrepair. Urgent maintenance work is needed.

A place to stand and imagine
Oct 2015 • Couples
If I could have been looking at this scene several hundred years ago, what would I have seen? The imagination runs riot. Soldiers in formation marching to display their skills. Or, horse parades. Or, ladies and gentlemen parading around on a Sunday in their finest. It is rather like Horseguards Parade in London but Much bigger and more attractive with arched colonnades around against the backdrop of the Royal Palace. My hotel was opposite and I had a grand view from my window.

Striking complex of royal buildings
Jul 2015 • Couples
Although you cannot enter these buildings, you should walk the incredible arcades. If you get the sun right, you'll get some amazing photos with light and shade. The arcades seem to go on forever! On a hot summer day, you sure need the shade.

Visiting the city of Áranjuez.
May 2015 • Couples
This building is located on the opposite side of the tourist office, and on this moment they are occupied with the restauration, I do think that they have already finished a great part of it.
You have an entrance almost straight over the tourist office, when you enter here you arrive on a patio with nice garden, and when you cross it straight you arrive on the “Plaza de Parejas” and then you have on your right the Royal Palace with the gardens parterre and Jardin de la Isla.
As the name is telling it is an “Office Building” so not very interesting for a tourist, on behalf of the garden on the inside. But it can be a part of your visit of Aranjuez.
Some other interesting buildings you will find in the “Calle del Gobernador”, a side street of the “Calle de Andalucia.
