We were really impressed by the activities on offer at the chateau and while we planned on stopping in for an hour or so as the castle remains did not seem that big, ended up there for hours! With horse ride jousting and medieval games,...More

It is basically a ruin with no rooms for access but has a laser light show at night. believe it was owned originally by King Richard the Lionheart.

Lovely chateaux with lots of French/English heritage. Kiosk staff very friendly and helpful and have good English if needed. The Chateaux itself is very pretty but has suffered over the years but this adds to the charm I think, there are lots of onsite activities...More

Great place to visit - lots of history - also small attractions around the site; the afternoon display was very good - tour around the castle informative.

Visited on a weekend when no special actives on. A nice castle ruins with a great view of the surrounding area. The kids enjoyed the stocks, stilt walking, the climb to the top and the underground well.

Went with 3 kids 9,7,6. Occupied from about 11 to 5pm. Although the narration of the knights and falconry was in French (I gather Richard the Lionheart didn't speak English!) it was still highly entertaining for us all. The horse riding activity was good for...More

Hi, We have no shows and no animations in September. At this period, you can only do the tour of the castle thanks to a paper guide or audioguides you can rent. We also let some medieval wooden games available for... More
