This park is most popular for it's rock climbing and bike trail. The bike trail goes all the way to Weatherford, TX or the opposite direction to Mineral Wells, TX. But does not go around back to the state park. Mostly flat not hard trail....More

yes, there are lots of birds. In the plateau campground there is a trail to a bird watch.
The last time I was there, the park did not have rock climbing equipment. I was told recently that has changed. If not, is there a company you can rent equipment and hire a guide?

I think you have to bring your own but a guide will help you.
