Blues Alley is closed. See the link to their Facebook page on their still up website. The goods for sale are now located across the street. The museum portion has been relocated to a museum in Navasota.

This emporium is one of my favorite stops. Chocked full of vintage toys, curios, coins, furniture, jewelry, paintings, and prints. A radio shop for sale of vintage radios from the Thirties to Sixties with a repair shop. Also, a nice selection of musical instruments, mostly guitars and ukuleles. The mural on the outside of the Building is a beautiful ode to the Blues. Local artist Leon is often around at the front entrance selling his most recent African American paintings. He has patrons from around the world.

Something for everyone! Hubby found the back area full of interesting radio's and music while I found lots of antiques and Christmas decorations at great prices. We spent quite a while poking around and asking questions about Navasota Blues and the Festival. Friendly place, we plan to return with friends when we show them around the town.

This is fun spot to find s wife array of antiques--vintage curios and furniture, artwork, movie posters, albums...and the unique antique radio repair and sale shop. The Fifties/Sixties space-age designs are "out of this
world!" The Blues Museum gives one insight into what
a blues history Navasota has. A selection of guitars are for sale. The main street has a number of other interesting shops.

Husbands will love it...a big collection of unusual string musical instruments and a room full of old radios. The other items were average to below average and prices not outstanding but earns points for having things men as well as women would be interested in. Super friendly knowledgeable gentleman answered all our radio questions...we bought one!
