I grew up going fishing in Port O'Connor with my grand parents Eldred and Ruby Fraser. I have returned 35 years later to bring my son to fish and have fun.

We stopped at the gas station and got a permit to drive on the beach. We were there late in the evening and it was almost deserted. Beautiful beach, not too many tourists. It was wonderful and we will go back, especially since our $10...More

We have packed in and camped on the beach for several days, bringing tarps, rope, frozen water, lots of food, etc. Then using driftwood and rope would create leantos to stretch the tarps for lots of shade. Swimming at night we would encounter phosphorescent algae....More
