This was a nice little place to stop in and kill some time. There were some nice displays by local members. I think you could find some nice purchases if you found something for your taste. It is free admission and they had a couple of exhibits at the time of college and high school contest winners. All very good... More

Within walking distance to the Maritime Museum, Rockport Beach and the Aquarium. Free to view. Very nicely done exhibit. Just takes a few minutes. Sweet gift shop.

The art center is very small. It has a nice exhibition and out side a small sculpture garden- beautiful. It is next to the water and the area is very pleasant.

Hi--You probably won't find a masterpiece here, BUT you will find what local artists are doing. And I always find that pretty thrilling. The house itself is fun to be in. They have a great gift shop. I recently attended an opening for a friend's show and they did an absolutely fabulous job of that. I love this place.

Featuring local artists, the Rockport Center for the Arts is always a part of the Rockport Spring Tour of Homes. This self guided tour has volunteer docents who describe the architectural and design features of each home.

We went to the Art Center reception that introduces the recognized local artists and the chosen art festival banner artist. Everyone was warm and welcoming. The appetizers were delicious and the featured artists were all on hand to answer questions about their art and sell chosen pieces. It is so good to see the art colony is still going strong... More

Rockport has changed a lot, but you still can visit the very good Rockport Art Center. Good space with fine exhibitions.
