Salado Glassworks is a glassblowing studio and gallery that specializes in custom hand blown glass. There's always a seat by the fire for you to witness owner and artist Gail Allard shape art installations, sculptures, signature vessels or custom lighting options. The gallery also features custom hand blown glass drinkware, gifts and decor. Family friendly "Blow Your Own" events offer the chance experience and interact with the art of glassblowing firsthand. A great experience making your own Christmas decorations. With helpful staff they give you a great chance to make your own decoration. They do change what you can make for different holidays. The only point is you will need to go back the following day...More

It offers a nice glass blowing experience. The craftsmen are friendly and let you choose your design and colors. Kids are also welcome. Tip: you do have to go back a day after to be able to claim your glass artwork

worth visiting, maybe better on a non-August day but the art is amazing, the artists and craftsmen very engaging and chatty

This was so much fun! Be prepared for lots of heat, but the outcome is worth it. My sister and I made pretty glasses here with our awesome instructors.
