It's a great place to hike. You can do a two-hour hike or 4 hours. I did the two-hour hike and then head over to pick us up and bring us back to our cars. We parked at the parking lot on the corner of Hunter and Wonder World Drive by car wash. We had over pickup at the 2-hour... More

Have been here several times, most recently with my grandson. He loved the cave excursion and then walking through the mirror maze. Finally, there is the train trip through the petting zoo where you can feed peacocks, ostriches, deer and other animals. It is a fun trip. Easy to find. There is a nominal charge. Lots of parking and a... More

For tourists visiting San Marcos looking for a different type of attraction. Not a cave but a deep open area under the ground. Very interesting tour. Most locals have visited here and can give you directions to it. Also animal park and train ride for kids - and adults. Tall tower to look over the entire area of San Marcos.... More

We were originally going to go to wimberly for vacation but were told that the blue hole was not open. So down in our hotel lobby we found a brochure for wonder world and decided to check it out instead. Got a military discount which was wonderful and although they said immediate family would get in with the discount that... More

I think that wonder world stands for 'I wonder how they are still open' or 'I wonder when this will be over' There was a mixed group of us ranging from 1.5 years old to 50. The teens hated it! First off its super expensive. The train ride is just a loop around a small area and you pretty much... More

Mary, it sounds like perhaps a more traditional amusement park would've been better suited for what you were looking for. We're not about the bells and whistles, and that's part of why people love coming here. They get to experience the deep history of Texas' geological fascinations, and learn how this great state was formed. We're very open about the... More

Came to have a fun day with kids last Friday, long drive by the way and told a group RSVP first so we would not be able to have fun, sorry. What a terrible place that can't take care of all visitors, not to mention kids heart broken. No worries we paid a little more and went to proper cave,... More

Ty was our wonderful tour guide. He is very knowledgeable about the cave and is always willing to answer questions. Our kids (12, 10 & 5 ) loved the cave, anti gravity house, and feeding the animals. This is a good place to go when it is hot outside and you only have about 2- 2.5 hours.

COOL natural cave. I do not remember tour guy's name but he was so funny and full of information. It wasn't a long tour or too short which was just about perfect. The additional attraction at the end were also pretty fun with the little ones.

This attraction is small and a throwback to a different era! No thrills, but cute little gift shop. We primarily were interested in the guided cave tour, which was the highlight of our visit. The only disappointment being the elevators were not working so we missed out on the 95 foot high sky view at the end. However, our guide,... More

We're so glad you enjoyed exploring the cave, but we're sorry to hear some of the other activities weren't as much of a hit with you. Even so, we appreciate you coming to check us out, and we're thrilled to hear you enjoyed having Macy as your tour guide. Thank you for the feedback! Warmly, Your Team at Wonder World... More
