Great trail. Great people. Horrible and hateful local vendors. The trail has a moderate difficulty level, and there are limited accommodations (at the time I was there). Check their web site for current info.

Challenging and hilly place to get a MTN bike workout. As the name suggests the trails are very rocky, but manageable. Lots of elevation changes to burn those legs and get the heart going.

Only one here this day. Very wet and muddy. I understand why they cancelled. I made the trip so I rode anyway. Very undulating terrain. Constantly either up or down. Several stream crossings. Several hike a bike steep hills. Some wooden sections need to be repaired. The mud was unbelievable! At two different points there was so much sticky mud... More

This was the first time I have paid to ride single track and was not excited about it. Turns out it was more than worth it. Technical - There is nothing I would consider technical features. It is a really well laid out network with a great feel. Scenic - The trails are good, but the overall atmosphere and environment... More

Great bike race! We should have camped there. Wish they had had more food options locally. We will go back next year!

We attended a mountain bike race last Sunday, in which our granddaughter was riding. She & our son both said it was a difficult and in parts, technical course. I am happy we did not stay there in our RV.

Enjoyed a great trail race out at RHR. This was one of the most beautiful parks I've seen. great trails (challenging on foot) Most trails dip in and out of ravines all day long.

The owners are investing in this campground/bike trail in SMITHVILLE. Please, Trip Advisor, move it to a Smithville heading.

Great place to go for a long ride. You could easily spend 4 hours riding around at this place. Be sure to stop by the saloon for a beer and cheeseburger on your way out.

Rocky Hill Ranch is one of the best MTB trail facilities in Texas (or the world). Their website is at boomersrockyhill. The trails are $8/day to ride and there is primitive and RV camping available at the Saloon. Sign in to ride at the Blue Building (Boomer's Bicycles) near the trail head.
