Today was our 3rd lesson with Andy. We took a 2 hr lesson three years ago and were hooked! Our next two lessons have been all-day lessons. Andy brings all the BIG forms, all the tools and lots of energy! Our kids talk about building sand castles all the time now- they should, they are experts after having these lessons!... More

We had our sandcastle lesson on Monday and today is Thursday and we have recommended it to everyone! We had a great time. There were 8 of us in the group and Andy managed to give us all one-on-one attention and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. If we make it back to South Padre again, it's definitely an activity we would... More

Worth every penny!! For my birthday, my husband and 2 best friends went down to SPI for 4 days. One of the items we really wanted to do was the sandcastle lessons...yes, we are all in our 30's...so what?! Andy is an absolute hoot and makes everything funny and interesting. You get to play and make your own design, as... More

We are so glad we did the sandcastle lesson. Andy is fun, patient, artistic, and he is an excellent teacher. Plan to take a lesson in the very beginning of your vacation. You will want to build sand castles everyday. Many experiences for tourists on the island are fun, but this was fun that lasts for the whole vacation and... More

Had a great time and recommend this to anyone that is going to be on the island. Andy truly loves what he is doing and sharing his skills. I know that we are going to do it again next year when we are down.

Learn the tricks and secrets of building an ultimate sandcastle...we had a great time for all ages! 80 year old grandparents watched as their grandkids and daughter built a sandcastle taller than mom. Plus the kids made a 10 pound sand ball where they played the ultimate "don't drop the ball" game. As Andy says: we don't do boring. And... More

Our sandcastle-building lesson with Andy was a highlight of our family vacation to South Padre Island. Andy is a maestro with sand. He starts with an unshaped pile of it, his hands start moving, and before you know it an elaborately detailed sculpture takes shape before our eyes. And the best part about him, which is the best part about... More

Thank you for your kind words. You and your family were a delight and i am glad you found the experience rewarding! Chatting with families on a range of subjects is always fascinating and to meet a young man who was studying philosophy was awesome.
