Nice little farmers market. Picked up some shrimp salsa from the Shrimp Outlet, some gluten free garlic pretzels, and some walnut granola mix.

We come to the island four or more times a year- and were lucky enough to discover this gem last summer! There is a lot to discover in this place! The vegetables are super fresh and very colorful and tasty- not to mention varied from regular farmers market staples. And, then there are the bakers, the ready to eat delicacies-... More

Enjoyed walking the Farmers Market. Not very big in size, however, it is a good place to support local people and get fresh produce. People are friendly and helpful.

My wife and I enjoyed our visit to this market. It is small, but has room to grow and we certainly hope it does! When we visited, it was a mix of granola, honey, specialty teas, and such with only a small sampling of fresh produce. We hope each trip back to the island it grows as we plan to... More

We stumbled upon this market at the start of our week. We bought granola, tomatoes, mangos, carrots, squash, grapefruit, and we each had a wonderful chai tea from Moxie iced tea company. It was closing time but the vendors were very pleasant. We enjoyed the live entertainment also.

While on South Padre Island we have visited the Sunday afternoon market several times. Find one of the ladies selling either 4 berry jam or plum jam and you will be delighted with their rich flavors. Dried fruits are offered for you taste and of course for your purchase and they were delicious, especially the dried bananas, apricots, and mango.... More

We go every Sunday while on the island for fresh produce, much of which is organic or grown pesticide free. Visit Frannie, a Swiss woman who now lives in the Valley, for fresh eggs and the most wonderful spelt bread and pastries, in addition to her great salad greens. The freshly squeezed juices at another booth are wonderful also. Rhonda... More

There were relatively few vendors, but the ones that were there were friendly and knowledgeable. There was more prepared item than fresh items. With a little more promotion from the Chamber this has great potential.
