I have never seen so much trash on the beach! I wanted to take a beach walk with my son in the morning and we were disgusted by the tons and tons of trash. Even my five-year-old asked me why it was so yucky there....More

Long stretch of beach with lifeguards and showers and a picnic pavilion. Lots of places to fish as well. If you swim down by the jetti, it is a little less choppy

Spent our time there walking around exploring. We saw so many sea turtles and it really was awesome. Saw dolphins from far off too. Walking the jetties was a rral treat. I think it's a must do to experience the island.

Don't be like us, apply sunscreen at least 15 minutes before entering the water & reapply as directed. Don't forget to see the Fisherman's Memorial while there. Beaches clean but crowded.
