Visited the park for family reunion. Park rangers were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Park and camp grounds were very clean. Restrooms were also clean and stocked. Trails and river were easily accessible.

Park is relatively small, but tucked nicely into a river canyon that supports easy water access, shade, and other activities. Hiking was average, but still enjoyable. Close to San Antonio and Austin and an easy get-away for something different.

Our two grandkids really enjoyed wading and playing in the river, very scenic area with lots of hiking areas, great weekend getaway, RV sites were clean and adequate with all the basic hookups.

Agree with other responses-- Park Ranger can tell you exactly where and what to fish for when you will be visiting the Park.
