Pedernales has a great view!

Beautiful place! The wines are very good. It's a little further out but not far. The view is fabulous!! It's definitely a worthwhile stop on your winery route!

We went back to our favorite wine Vineyard, Pedernales Cellars. The views were stunning. The wines were delicious. The staff was very customer service oriented. Robert waited on us. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. It was a very pleasant experience!

Great place with good wines. Other things of interest include olive oils and vinegars. It is not in TripAdvisors database but I highly recommend 4,0 Cellars. It is a tasting room for Lubbock wineries - it is a great stop.

Thanks for visiting. I am glad you enjoyed the wines and other offerings we have. Since you mention 4.0, I want to add a plug that one of the wineries represented there is also a member of Texas Fine Wine alongside Pedernales Cellars. More

We had a lovely wine tasting in such a beautiful setting. The lady that greeted us when we entered made us feel so welcome. The server Forbes was very engaging and informative. All the staff seemed very friendly and welcoming. We would highly recommend a trip to this winery, when one is visiting Fredericksburg and the Hill Country.

This is a beautiful winery and their wines are delicious, but they are obviously very proud of their wine tasting. Shame on me, I should have asked first how much it cost, but we had been to several other wineries in the area and cost was $8 - $10 and they waved the fee if you purchased their wine, not... More

Thank you very much for visiting. I am glad that you enjoyed the wines. Our tasting fee is $15 + tax and includes the glass. The wineries along Hwy 290 do an informal survey of tasting fees every year, and currently they range between $10-18. Outside the 290 corridor, they may be lower. We generally do not waive tasting fees,... More

We dropped in about 30 minutes before closing. The staff was very nice and friendly and assured us that the time was not a problem at all. We sampled the six wines in the flight, had good conversation with the person helping us, purchased some wine and were on our way by 5:00. Yes, it was quick but we didn't... More

Thank you for making it to our winery. I am glad that you had such a positive experience. Our staff will appreciate the shout out. Please do spread the word about the Texas Hill Country and its wine scene. We love to have visitors who discover that Texas has much more to offer than boots and cowboy hats. More

If you stop here, ask for Kelley as your hostess if she is working. She is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable on the wine offerings. Pedernales offers a variety of reds and whites and their standard tasting includes 6 pours. If you have the time to buy a bottle and relax on the front patio, it is not to be missed.... More

Thank you very much for visiting. Kelley will appreciate your shout out. Our view is one of the best of the Pedernales River valley. The river runs just north of Stonewall, and we look down on it from a hill south of the town. Please do visit again. More

We always, when staying at Rose Hill Manor, go to Pedernales. This is a great opportunity to sample some different wines prior to purchasing some. Gift items are unique and a small selection of food is available. After tasting some of the wines, be sure to purchase a bottle (which the willing staff will open for you), get a snack,... More

My wife and I are Texas wine lovers and take 2-3 day trips to different wineries about 6 times a year. We are Pedernales Wine Club members. They consistently produce some of the best wines in Texas, especially their reds. As far as white, we enjoyed their 2015 Reserve Viognier. Their reserve wine tasting is spectacular (you even drink in... More

Thank you for being wine club members. I am glad you appreciate our wines, and have taken the time to do the reserve tasting. It does get crowded on weekends - though January is a quieter month. If you can't come during the week, Sundays are usually quieter than Saturdays. If you have any service suggestions, please ask to talk... More
