We came on a busy Saturday night during Spring Break. The wait was 1.5 hrs at about 8pm, but we ended up getting a table on the patio and were served with the bar menu immediately. We had a AMAZING burger, margaritas and homemade Mexican ice cream. The atmosphere was fun (live music) with good people-watching and the stars overhead.... More

This place does not cease to please for a unique Texas experience. We came for dinner on a busy night –New Year’s night. There was a Townes Tribute in memory of Townes Van Zandt. It was 1.5 hour wait for dinner but we sat in bar and had guacamole, queso and chips, with prickly pear margaritas which made our dinner.... More

Terlingua in January is nice. Few people but the Starlight Theater is still open. Its still a good idea for reservations in January if you are a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday brunch visitor. Steak is great. Service is fast and friendly. Try the dill cucumber home made dressing, and make sure you at least consider a burger. But, the burger... More

This place looks and feels like the best Terlingua, an incredibly fun place to visit, has. The decor is simply outrageous in the best sense of the world. The food I consumed was excellent. The mashed potatoes are even real. Live music was excellent. The service was well above average. I recommend blackened fish but everything looked great. This is... More

The Starlight Theatre is best known as a great place to eat but it also has a lively bar and a stage where live acts frequently perform. Next to the stage is where you can find Clay Henry III, the mayor of the nearby town of Lajitas, standing in his reserved spot every night. If this seems strange, consider the... More

The food was average, but the entertainment was great. We were lucky to hit a night when several local ladies were performing, 6-8 different groups/singles. All were fabulous.

After a long day at the Big Bend National Park -- a quick ride to the Terlingue Ghost Town and dinner at Starlight Theater was just perfect -- outstanding menu -- some live music AND great service from Asheley Baker -- top-notch server.

First, the food is good. Our group ordered the rib-eye steak, chicken satay, chicken salad and pork medallion and all were very tasty. There was live music the night we were there and my daughter and I got to visit with the singer/song writer who was a lovely and very talented young woman. The servers are friendly and knowledgeable of... More

This place is a true gem. It is steeped in history, both the venue and the structure. Incredible food but in an eclectic and casual setting. Had live music playing, yet still able to have a conversation over dinner. Local art displayed near the stage where the expired mayor of Lajitas is displayed. I had the chicken fried wild boar... Very rustic but the food and service are very up to date. Had the chicken fried wild boar and the wife had the quail. Next door is the terlingua trading company for souvenir shopping. Bring you camera for the great views from the porch.
