This is a must destination on you trip to Tyler TX. It was so interesting to see all the history of this home. The lady at the front desk was very knowledgeable of the home and family that lived there. Beautiful place to visit!

Lovely home with a lot of local history and artifacts and furnishings. Excellent video introduction and lovely docent, We have visited and toured many homes, and this is one of the best. And all for only a $2 donation, and no crappy overprced gift shop...More

The Goodman is one of Tyler's best kept secrets. It is also one of the must see places in Tyler. Most of the furniture belonged to residents of the home and a visit to the Goodman is like stepping back in time to the 1880s....More

Not sure too, but there is an entrance mon the side. If ever it's wheelchair accessible, it will only be the first floor. The second floor is a narrow staircase. Call them too, they're very helpful.
