One of the best parks in Texas. Several hiking trails which allow for seeing the beautiful Hill Country vistas. Well worth the small entrance fee. Clean and well maintained.

We've been here a couple of times to find Golden-cheeked Warblers, an endangered species. Stop at the office and they will tell you where to look.

This is a small, secluded park with excellent hiking trails. Many trails are moderate to challenging. It was sparsely occupied while we were there.
