If you are looking to spend an afternoon in quiet reflection this is the place. The building is gorgeous. If you have ever seen Baylor promotional materials, they likely featured interior shots of Armstrong Browning.

The library was recommended at the Baylor Visitor Center and it was worth the stop just to see the stained glass windows. The Browning collection was also impressive.

The last thing we would have expected in the heart of Texas was a beautiful library with a world class Browning collection, along with dozens of lovely stained glass windows. Well worth the visit.

A beautiful building, stain glass windows that tell a story, and history. Located on the Baylor campus, see if you can get a tour. If not the pamphlet will give you the info you need. Now if you're an English major or a lover of all things Browning, you will be in heaven. Walk around and enjoy the quiet and... More

This library is a treasure tucked away on the Baylor University campus. It is filled with beautiful stain glass windows with some quotes of Elizabeth and/or Robert Brownings poetry on each one.

This place, although beautiful inside, is quite a misnomer. In fact, I don't really know what it is. It is not a library because I hardly saw any books, it isn't a study place because I only counted 7 tables, and it really isn't a museum either because they don't have many items on display. It is its own unique... More

Picture yourself wandering around Buckingham Palace and you'll get an idea of what this place is like. The ceramic and china figurines on display in the various display cases are breathtaking. The many various colors of Wedgewood china you rarely if ever see together in one location. The stained glass windows on the ground floor cost, I am told, some... More

I visited the Armstrong Browning Library located on the Baylor University campus. The outside of the library is unremarkable and is the main reason I have never visited this library before now. However, this library is absolutely gorgeous on the inside! It has beautiful wood walls, marble columns, beautiful stained glass windows, wooden library shelves with many rare books. This... More

If you love the poetry of the Brownings, then you must visit this library. I studied here while at Baylor because it is a quiet place. It is beautiful and a must-see.
