This is an extensive park located along the river with lots of places to stop along the way. Make your way up to Lover's Leap. Have a picnic lunch at one of the many tables along the river. Enjoy the outdoors.

a view and up front experience of the bravos river, which flows through waco on its way to the gulf of mexico, a slice of central texas, take in the experience, then get immersed in the waco culture, eating, etc.

Several spots at this park are said to be haunted. Reading the legends online as we visited them was pretty cool. It is about a 15 minute drive outside the heart of waco. There are trails, playgrounds, fountains, bathrooms, and splash pads.

Given the small stadium and all the centralized activities near stadium and downtown, I would have guessed that Cameron Park would not be affected. What was your experience??
