We absolutely loved this museum, off the beaten path on our Texas Roadtrip. Great information and the exhibits! Very informative and fun for the kids - the Pioneer Playroom was a huge hit!

So awesome and well displayed piece of Texas history. After a hike around in the same footsteps of the men that signed the independence of Texas....the Republic of Texas....the museum is a must see. It is two stories of history. Lots of information and artifacts.

The museum is a very educational and interesting place to learn all about the birth of Texas and its past. Do not miss the upstairs part.

One of the best things this museum has is an interactive play room for kids. It's very hands on for the littles. From dressing up in old clothes to milking a cow.

A great museum showcasing Texas history. Fabulous exhibits and great staff. It's a bit off the beaten path but well worth it. Allow several hours just to see...the adjacent park will take a bit more time on top of that Highly recommend a visit.
