Beautiful well-maintained park with recreated falls. (the original falls were washed away in a flood in the 1880's

While traveling through Texas we always try to stop in Witchita Falls. Love staying at the Days Inn and eating fine food at Cheddar's and a tranquil walk at the Falls in Lucy Park is something to always look forward to...... especially if you've had a big meal.

Directions to the falls were not very clear. We are from Florida and had a difficult time finding the falls. Thought the park was very well maintained and extremely clean. Excellent place to take the dogs for a walk and relax.

My wife and I loved it. It was no Niagara Falls by any stretch of the imagination, but the scenery was nice, especially the walk to reach the fall about 15-20 minutes depending upon your speed. We took lots of pictures and recommend it for all city folks.

GREAT PARK... signs could be a little better as we walked the wrong direction to find the FALLS,,, but we did and they were nice and we were there early in the morning so only a few other visitors. They have disc golf and a 2 mile paved trail. Our 11yo enjoined it!

I would have given this a 5 star if there was signage directing you to the falls. We had trouble finding them but the park was beautiful. Enjoyed walking around.

I came here to see the water falls it was more beautiful then I expected. The walk was a little long but it was a nice evening so I really enjoyed it. I do wish to come back in the spring.

You go to Lucy Park which is beautifully maintained and it has walking trails that are all cement and picnic tables . Along the way to the falls there are benches where you can sit and watch the river flow by and just enjoy nature. Or you can continue walking and there are benches where you can sit and view... The park was nice but August was pretty hot when we went. Walked the trails but the directions to the falls was very poor. For out first visit had a hard time finding which way to go. Recommend going in cooler months.

Where is the water? Finally had a chance to go to the so-called nice Lucy Fall, walked alongside the muddy red water river, reached to the point where the "Fall" was, but there is no water! Is there a certain time of the year when you can see real water falling off the Fall??
