We had a church group camp here 21 youth and 8 adults. The location was perfect because it wasn't from from Page. We also boated around Lone Rock which was perfect.

Yes, you may certainly go for the day and not camp! As a matter of fact, I don't recall buying or needing a pass while visiting the Lone Rock.

Crazy busy and crowded and loud 24/7 on Mem Day weekend, so if you like music blaring all night long and drunk people riding ATVs through your camp, you'll like Lone Rock. No guarantees that you can find a spot even on the... More

It can be busy in April but not as busy as June-August since the water hasn't warmed up enough to swim. To my recollections not too many waves unless the wind kicks up a lot--it's kind of like a bay there.
