A very trek through the canyon . A lot of shade if you want to stop and take in the surroundings. Once there , there is a metal ammo box that you open and it has some info in it about the area. We got...More

Had a cooked breakfast here which included blue corn pancakes and the usual eggs bacon and sausage and some very decent coffee. Couldn't find fault anywhere hence a score of 5. As we ate we watched the hummingbirds on the feeder outside. We left in...More

This is a wonderful area with fantastic views. Other reviewers have commented about its quietness, and we have to say that we saw nobody else when we visited this area. A really good spot for hiking.

While this hike/walk is easy, it does take a very long time! Seeing the Indian ruins and petroglyphs made it worth it though!

Love exploring this area. It has great canyons to explore and look for prehistoric ruins, as well as petroglyphs and pictographs. Would not recommend taking any vehicle except high clearance on these roads. Take lots of water.

This is a truly wonderful area, made even better by the fact that there are so few people around. The views are amazing, and the drives and outlooks are outstanding. Trails can be a little tough to find, but the local information centers provide jumping...More

Great place to spend the day and look for ruins. The cotton woods are still changing colors. Not many people during the week.
