This is a nature made playground for all ages! I could have spent hours here rock scrambling on the formations, but my husband was itching to go back roading on Hole in the Rock Rd. Next time I'll plan ahead. Not sure if it's this way all the time, but we were only 1 of 3 cars in the parking... More

Don't miss this wonder! It's amazing to walk through the hoodoos. You can climb up and around. I loved it. My children loved it.

Once we found out that the roads to get there was a dirt road we almost didn't go, but I managed to convice my husband to live dangerously and so we went. The road is very long and bumpy, but we made it in our rental minivan and it was so worth the trip! The rock formations were incredible! Bring... More

Great out-of-way place to visit and happy we took the time recommended by our B&B. Long drive on gravel road (longer than expected). Photographers dream. Spent more time there than expected. Rock formations spectacular. Few visitors. Facilities!

This is in Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. This is where water and wind have carved layers of sandstone into cool shapes. We climbed all over the place and stayed to take starry night photos.

Loved it. An appropriate title would be devils playground. The rock formations were so beautiful and impressive! A must see.

Incredibly photogenic place that changes with every step. You can climb (safely) on the formations, so fun for kids and great photo-ops. We spent about two hours just exploring, climbing, and being amazed. There are restrooms and picnic tables as well--even grills if you want to cook and eat. Just a beautiful spot, and not at all crowded. Highly recommended... More
