Quaint Town

Heber Valley is a beautiful area with a quaint town that has smaller shops. The town is growing and they have a beautiful high school (Wasatch High).

From Blue Ribbon fly fishing on the Provo to golf at Soilder's Hollow. Two horse back ridding experiences (Rocky Mtn. outfitters by the golf course) to KB Horses across town. All were excellent. My husband went fishing. I went riding and we played golf together....not all in one day. But it was so great we returned another day to do... More

My first visit was with my landscape painting class, and I just loved scenery. Then I started bugging my husband to visit it together, which ended up quite unexpectedly for our friends -- we finally moved here. Heber Valley has everything for anyone, any time of year. I love hiking, biking, cross country skiing. We are close to world-class resorts... More

We travel to Heber City/Midway twice a year. In winter we down hill ski Park City, Canyons, & Deer Valley; and cross country ski at Soldier's Hollow and on the Wasatch Golf course. In summer we fish and kayak at Deer Creek, Jordanelle, and Strawberry Reservoirs. Midway was settled by Swiss immigrants and many buildings in the town reflect the... More

We loved visiting Heber City this July. Just happened to be there on a "concerts in the park" night. We enjoyed the concert, the mini-farmers market and the local food vendors. Everybody was especially nice. We drove around town to "explore" and loved the quaint, small town feel, the well maintained buildings/landscaping as well as the general cleanliness around town.... While in Heber/Midway you must visit the Veteran's Memorial. We came across it while searching Google maps. It appears like a spiral in the map. Go up carefully to have the best view of the valley, the reservoir and surrounding mountains. Remember to pay your respects to our veterans.

Cross Country skiing at Soldier Hollow was really challenging but fun and beautiful. The staff were very nice and take the time to help you any way they can. And if you can not ski the tubing is a blast.
