I went to go snorkeling in Sand Hollow Reservoir. I looked at the website and saw that the air temperature would be 66-67f and sunny but the water temperature would be 68f. I... read more

We went here for the 4X4 Jeep Jamboree and had so much fun. Thanks to the local Jeep club and the town of Hurricane for putting on such a great off road adventure. We look forward to coming back

It really is a gem to visit. From the middle of the lake your breath is taken away by the 360 degree view of one of the most geologically diverse places on the planet. The island rocks are also stunning and fun for jumping into the water.

The 4x4 trails here are unmatched for beauty and challenge anywhere in the country. I used to dive 12 hours to Moab every year, but now never go past 6 hours to Sand Hollow. The dunes here are also that fantastic red sand. Unlike places in California, it is VERY clean and the local people are the nicest people on... More

We went there based on other reviews. We were finally able to locate a ring for a fire and sat by the lake at dusk and enjoyed a Winnie roast and s'mores. It was a nice nature friendly park. Not many receptacles for fires so be prepared with your own fire ring if one is not available because you are... More

I went to go snorkeling in Sand Hollow Reservoir. I looked at the website and saw that the air temperature would be 66-67f and sunny but the water temperature would be 68f. I was pleasantly surprised by this information till I actually drove 4 hours to get there and found that the water temperature was NOT 68f in November. The... More

Clean, large level concrete slab spots are nicely dispersed so you aren't living right on top of your neighbors. If a spot is available "on the hill" you'll have great views. We felt lucky to get a "first come/first served" spot on a Sunday; I believe the park is usually very busy, and the Utah state parks reservation service will... More
