Apart from the lovely views of the lake, Quail Creek State Park maintains its grounds very well. The sites are a good distance away from one another so you have some privacy. Restrooms are clean. It's conveniently located approx 40 minutes away from Zion National...More

Both this and the neighboring reservoir are top notch. Easy to find and within a short drive from both a fuel station and walmart on the local highway. Perhaps a five minute drive.

Nice little reservoir. Gets very crowded on a Saturday in June, so a little choppy for kayaking. No dogs allowed.

Rocky beach, but clear, warm water to play in by the picnic tables and shade. No swimmers itch here, like Sand Hollow and way less crowded. We enjoyed renting paddle boards from Dig Paddle Sports and exploring the lake. Great for families.

So after a few hours of slicing and dicing the dunes...it was time to just get cooled off with a swim in the lake...nothing but good times...

Fun to see the reservoir in the desert. Although not huge, it was interesting to explore. Didn't have time to try fishing, but will next time. Nice facilities with paddle board and kayak rentals.

Call DIG Paddle at Quail Creek - not sure they rent boats, but they will know who you can rent from.

I am sorry but I do not know. A quick call to the UT State Parks, on line, should give you the answer.
